WHO: Real Estate Brokers, Sellers/Buyers, and Interested Parties who work with Contingent Right to Purchase and/or Contingent Obligation to Sell transactions. The training is led by Patrick Sieng, a licensed principal broker and Realtor with over 10 years experience in real estate and nearly 20 years experience as a political strategist and lobbyist at the State Capitol. He owns Capitol Real Estate, a preferred vendor of the Northwest Real Estate Investors Association.
WHAT: This training is on Contingent Right to Purchase and Contingent Obligation to Sell - two of the most misunderstood and misused forms/processes in real estate transactions. We will review when the processes applies, forms used (Oregon Real Estate Forms and Oregon Realtors Forms), and strategies to use in transactions. This class is eligible for 2 hours of Continuing Education Credit for real estate brokers and property managers through Capitol Real Estate, a certified education provider of the Oregon Real Estate Agency.

WHY: Broker Strategies is a training series dedicated to educating real estate brokers and consumers on real estate topics and forms with a focus on strategies to better position clients from both a buyers agent and sellers agent perspective.
ABOUT PATRICK SIENG
Patrick Sieng has over 10 years of experience in real estate. He has been a licensed broker since 2013 and a licensed principal broker since 2017. He owns Capitol Real Estate and Capitol Real Estate Referral Service. Patrick has been a licensed mortgage loan originator since 2022. He has also worked as a political consultant, legislative aide, and lobbyist for nearly 20 years. For 15 years, Patrick served as a cadet and reserve police officer/deputy with the Keizer Police Department, Portland Police Bureau, Marion County Sheriff's Office, and the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. In 2021, he was awarded Realtor of the Year by the Mid-Valley Association of Realtors. He earned a certificate in real estate and property management from Portland Community College.
