Board Of Directors
Christian Bryant - President
Christian Bryant has been working in real estate in the Portland & Salem areas since 2003. His business expertise includes work as a commercial/residential mortgage broker and account executive, as well as being a founding partner of Blue Fund Inc., a privately funded commercial finance and venture firm.
Together with Coldwell Banker Mt. West Real Estate, Christian opened Coldwell Banker Mt. West Property Management in February of 2009. The main office was started in Salem, Oregon, but the company quickly grew to manage properties from the northern Oregon border down to Eugene.
In February of 2016, Christian’s company merged with Investment Renovation & Consulting. He always had a goal of having a company that could serve all the needs a property investor may have. IRC is now able to handle everything from property management, construction and repairs, to residential and commercial property sales. IRC even has distressed homes which are offered at wholesale prices to clients.
Christian has always felt that if you are going to run a business in a community, you must give back to that community any way that you can. Due to this philosophy, he donates a portion of net profits to charity, and is involved with many local boards and commissions. Christian also believes in donating time and expertise to lobby on behalf of property investors. He serves on Oregon’s Landlord/Tenant Coalition, which negotiates and writes the bills to change landlord/tenant laws in Oregon. Dan Butler - Advisory Member
I was an investor very young at 17 1/2 years old I bought my 1st duplex in Southeast Portland. Not being able to meet the banks qualifications, I rousted up a cosigner and did my very 1st transaction through the conventional method. That property was a rental and remained as a rental for 34 years. I’ve been buying fixing and repairing and renting homes for a total of 45 years. That property I did sell because the area was a commercial area and I placed the money from that sale, into another component of my investments.
I do private money real estate loans for investors on deals that will make them great profit. I’m always glad to help people structured transactions and put together financing if something they want. But always glad to offer opinions, ideas concepts strategies.
I’ve always invested in houses and duplexes and have been a member of invest Northwest, this was the 1st group associated with our current group and then Northwest real estate investors Association, and then today’s group and I am proud to be a board member of our current group.
Getting out amongst the members and I am always glad to offer my experience to help other investors complete transactions that successful and beneficial for themselves as well as the prospective sellers of other properties, working with marketing, helping people creative concepts to purchase homes that might be sitting vacant, and/or might just be on their radar. Over the years I’ve always told folks if you don’t see what you want. It’s your job, to open the door and ask. If you do not ask for the right to own the property. 90% of the people don’t know what you want!
I am still in active landlord and I do the buying fixing repairing and all the management of placing tenants and also creating and maintaining land sale contracts as well as, from time to time selling homes to prospective purchasers or investors on option. Today just like I did it years ago managing maintaining doing all of or close to all of the work on every one of my rental properties. I’ve utilized options when selling properties, land sale contracts, deeds of trusts, where in each case I was the seller or the bank.
Over the years I’ve loaned money and actually bought properties at the courthouse steps, this gets a person’s heart beat thumping, because you never know what’s waiting around the corner!
When you understand both sides of how things help the other person is very easy to help someone else understand the concept and realize how and what the other people might prefer, and it can help you put together an offer that is very hard for a seller to say no to! Believe it or not there are times the way you ask your question can mean all the difference in the world, something that small can make that much difference.
Anyone can contact me by calling me on my cell phone at 503-998-0866, or by email at my email address of, [email protected]
